IS CHARGING MOBILES OVERNIGHT CAN BE DANGEROUS?
Leaving the devices plugged in over night is okay, if you are just unable to find time throughout the day for charging it. Because, your smartphones are smart enough.
Once the device is fully charged, it knows when to stop current from coming in to protect your phone from overcharging.
But as the phone starts running on it’s own fully charged battery, it consumes power. Even if you are on standby or active-standby mode, there will come a point in time, the battery decreases to 99%.
Now, according to basic rules the phone follows, it should allow the battery to charge if the battery is less than 100%.Hence, the phone charging again. So, the hopping between 99% and 100% creates a problem for your smartphone.
SOME SUGGESTIONS TO AVOID OVERCHARGING:
Avoid charging from empty or near empty to full.
Maintain charge cycles throughout the day.
Never use your device while charging. You must have observed that while doing so your smartphone heats up which hampers the battery life.
Always use official chargers and cables. Avoid over heating of your device by removing cover case while charging.
To increase battery life, keep the charge upto 80% and charge multiple times a day.
Never put your smartphone under direct sunlight which leads to temperature issues.
