Telegram Gets Group Video Calls Support, Animated Backgrounds and Emoji With New Update

Telegram has introduced group video calls — over a year after initially announcing its arrival. Users across mobile devices, tablets, and desktops can utilise the update to transform their group audio chats into video conference calls. These changes include the addition of animated backgrounds, new message sending animations, and new animated emoji. Telegram has also provided the option to share your screen and even both your camera feed and screen simultaneously. Users on tablets and desktops get additional support during video calls, where they can open the side panel and see a split-screen view of the video grid and list of participants. It will be optimised for both portrait and landscape orientation. On desktops, users will also have the ability for selective screensharing. This is similar to how you can share a particular screen from your desktop when using Zoom. However, the option to make group video calls is currently limited to the first 30 people join

World’s most Expensive Frog

The Poison Dart frog, which is 6cm long, is the world's most expensive animal. The worth of the frog is Rs 1.5 lakhs. It is expensive because of its poison and color. They are the most brightly colored frogs in the world. It is found in yellow, gold, copper, red, green, blue, golden, or black. Beneath its skin, it keeps its poison. The poison is called batrachotoxin. This type of frog is found in wet, tropical forests of Central and South America, where their diet contributes to the toxins they secrete through their skin. The Golden Poison Dart frog is the most toxic among them. The venom it has is enough to kill 10 grown men. It eats ants and small insects that have toxic chemicals in their bodies. The insects consume toxic plants, and the frog consumes the insects. If a Blue Poison Dart frog is touched, it does not cause death like a Golden Poison Dart frog. Instead, it causes immense pain, cramping, stiffness, serious swelling, nausea, and muscular paralysis.

Why should we Blink?

As children, most of us had staring contests with siblings or friends. Your eyes burned and watered and finally, you gave up. However, have you ever wondered why we should blink, what will happen if we stop blinking or blink at a fast rate? Blinking is necessary for two main reasons: clearing away dust particles and lubricating the eyeball. Even though you probably don't notice it, the average person blinks approximately once every 10 seconds. The average blink takes about 400 milliseconds, but the speed can be affected by many things such as fatigue, use of medication, and certain health conditions. Blinking wipes and renews your tear film, the smooth, moist layer covering our eyeballs. Your tear film and tears are made of water, oil, and mucus. The tear film also contains many nutrients and amino acids to nourish the cells in the cornea, the clear, dome-like structure on the front of the eye.  Besides keeping your eyes lubricated, tear film also: Helps form an almost

Shape Your body with white chocolate

There are three main types of chocolate, and they are white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate. Usually, everybody goes with their favourite. But eating Milk chocolates is highly beneficial to us. Milk chocolate has a name for contributing to weight gain due to its high fat, sugar, and caloric content.  The Percentage of Cocoa solids is 20-30%. But time of eating chocolate may differentially affect energy balance and impact body weight due to changes in energy intake, substrate oxidation, microbiota composition and their function, and circadian-related variables. Morning or night-time, chocolate intake does not lead to weight gain. Eating chocolate in the morning or in the evening can influence hunger and appetite, microbiota composition, sleep and more. A high intake of chocolate during the morning hours could help to burn fat and reduce blood glucose levels. Consumption of white chocolate must be in an alternate time with proper exercise. Chocolate consumption

WHY ATLANTIC AND PACIFIC OCEAN ARE NOT MIXED?

Nearly 72% of the earth is filled with water and it is present with different names- oceans, seas, rivers. Why are they named differently? There are five oceans namely Artic ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Indian ocean and Antarctic ocean . All the oceans are different in their physical and biological character called ocean clines. When we look at the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean junction, they do not mix. Is there any invisible Wall in between them? Many scientists have conducted research to solve this mystery. The Atlantic and Pacific Ocean have different chemical composition. The salinity of the water in the Atlantic Ocean is five times more than the Pacific Ocean. The density of water is also different, so even marine animals in Atlantic Ocean will not go to the Pacific Ocean. They cannot survive in other oceans. Atlantic and Pacific Ocean meet at Cape Horn. The narrow straight line formed by the water bodies is called Drake Strait. The Pacific Ocean is

What’s Responsible for Nail Biting?

Psychology of nail-biting Many people bite their nails at some point, especially as children. It’s a type of body-focused repetitive behaviour that goes by the clinical name of onychophagia. There’s a spectrum of nail-biting. It can range from an occasional benign behaviour to a deeply ingrained self-mutilate behaviour. Many people who begin biting their nails as children eventually outgrow the habit. For others, it becomes a lifelong habit that can be extremely difficult to quit. Why do we bite our nails? Nail-biting typically begins in childhood and may accelerate during adolescence. It’s not always clear why someone develops this particular habit, but once it starts, it can be difficult to manage. Impatience, frustration, boredom Once nail biting becomes a habit, it can become your go-to behaviour when you’re waiting around, frustrated, or just plain bored. It’s something you do to keep yourself occupied. Concentration Sometimes, it’s just an absentminded tendency rather

Anomalous nature of Bats

The only flying mammal with mysterious characters. We know that bats are blind, but only the smaller species of bats use echolocation as their main means of orienting themselves. Bigger bats can see better than humans. Sight is a blessing and a curse for them because sight can override echolocation signals. For instance, a bat may fly into a window because it sees light outside, even if echolocation tells it, the surface is solid. Why bats hang upside-down? Unlike birds, bats have trouble with take-offs from the ground. Their wings are not as strong as those of birds and they cannot run fast enough to build up flight speed. Bats have an easier time flying when they start already in the air. They use their front claws on their wings to climb to a high spot and launch themselves to achieve flight. Another reason they hang upside down is that a bat’s talons or back claws work opposite of most muscles. In fact, their knees face backwards. When they relax, special te

Earth's Heartbeat

It might be surprising to know that just like humans, the earth also has a heartbeat. According to a recent study of ancient geological events, the heartbeat is 27.5 million years old and slow as well. It was first discovered during the 1960s. The Schumann Resonance waves (named after Winfried Otto Schumann) oscillating between greater and lower energy have a base frequency of 7.83 Hz. The base frequency of 7.83 Hz is called 'Earths Heartbeat'. Progressively weaker harmonics have been measured at around 14.3, 20.8, 27.3, and 33.8 Hz. Humans have a pulse, so does the earth. The pulse of the earth is a cluster of geological events which are volcanic activity, mass extinctions, plate reorganizations, and sea level rises. Research shows that the next pulse will be after 20 million years as it occurs only every 27 million years once.  The pulses of tectonic and climate change are the result of geophysical processes related to the dynamics of plate tectonics and mantle pl

TARDIGRADES INTO SPACE

Tardigrades are phylum eight-legged segmented micro-animals. These species have been sent to space by Japan ‘s National Institute of Polar Research. There are about 1,300 known species in the phylum- Tardigrada, a part of the superphylum is Ecdysozoa consisting of animals that grow by ecdysis such as arthropods and nematodes. The earliest known true members of the group are known from Cretaceous (145 to 66 million years ago) amber, found in North America, but are essentially modern forms, and therefore likely have a significantly earlier origin, as they diverged from their closest relatives in the Cambrian, over 500 million years ago. They are often found on lichens and mosses and can be seen by soaking a piece of moss in water. These species are not harmful to humans. They can survive extreme conditions by going into a “tun” state, in which their body dries out and their metabolism drops to as little as 0.01 percent of its normal rate. When conditions return to normal, the tardigrade

VENUS PLANET IS STILL ACTIVE

After three missions, new research indicates that the planet Venus is geographically active. Journal proceeding of the national academy of species states that the evidence of tectonic movement has not been seen anywhere. Tectonics are the processes that control the structure and properties of the Earth's crust and its evolution through time. These include the processes of mountain building, the growth and behaviour of the strong, old cores of continents known as cratons.  This tectonic is the large-scale motion of plates that makes the earth’s interior surface. This interior motion is driving the surface deformation on Venus. These plates movement brought the continental surface. Venus resembled the Earth’s geology during the Archean Eon 2.6 billion years ago. Venus is referred as Earth’s twin as it resembles the size, mass, density and gravity of earth.  Rotating back on its axis, Venus’s atmosphere consists mainly of carbon dioxide with clouds of sulfuric

What causes some people to be left-handed, and why are fewer people left-handed than right-handed?

Researchers who study human hand preference agree that the side of the preferred hand (right versus left) is produced by biological and, most likely, genetic causes. The two most widely published genetic theories of human hand preference argue that evolutionary natural selection produced a majority of individuals with speech and language control in the left hemisphere of the brain. Because the left hemisphere also controls the movements of the right hand--and notably the movements needed to produce written language--millennia of evolutionary development resulted in a population of humans that is biased genetically toward individuals with left hemisphere speech/language and right-hand preference.  Approximately 85 % of people are right-handed. These theories also try to explain the persistent and continuing presence of a left-handed minority (about 15% of humans). The genetic proposal to explain hand preference states that there are two alleles, or two manifestations of a ge

Battlegrounds Mobile India Data-Sharing Issue With China Servers

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been under the scanner ever since its early access went live a few days ago. It was reported to have been sending and receiving data to/ from servers in China, Hong Kong, Moscow, and the US. It was also reported to be pinging a Tencent server in Beijing when booting up. Krafton had announced to cut ties with China-based Tencent last year to retrieve the game for Indian users, and these new reports suggested that the company was not keeping its promise. Now, Krafton appears to have released a small update to fix the China server issue. Battlegrounds Mobile India hosting data in servers across China and the other countries. It now reports that the game will not be sharing information with China servers anymore when you play the game. A small automatic update that is downloaded when you boot the game seems to have fixed the issue. Once that update is applied, Battlegrounds Mobile India prompts you to restart the game and log back in.

Dimples

Almost everyone is attracted to people with dimples. It is estimated that only 20% of the population are born with dimples, so that leaves the rest of us with the desire to have them too. Dimples on cheeks have a proper name in the dictionary. Gelasin is the word. It was derived from the Greek word ‘Gelaein’ which means “to laugh” because dimples specifically form on the cheeks when one smiles. These beautiful and cute-looking dimples appear because of Genetic Deformity. But it’s quite normal. Not only in the cheeks, but dimples can occur anywhere in the body. People with Dimples are told they look younger than their age. Dimples definitely signify fitness and youth. Have you ever noticed babies have temporary dimples? No doubt they are the cutest. It is because babies have too much fat in their cheeks.  It is highly possible if your parents have dimples you might get them. But sometimes it has been seen among various people, to inherit this common abnormality from their gr

Why are Dandelions blown?

Dandelions are assumed to be a flower but, they are a perennial herb. It is the oldest herb that is used in cooking and for healing since before Roman times. All the parts of the dandelion are edible. It is very common for people to pick up dandelions and blow them. There are many reasons for this. A lot of people blow the seeds away by making a wish (usually done by kids). It is also believed that blowing the dandelion seeds will carry your thoughts and dreams to loved ones. Some folklore superstitions suggest that blowing dandelions will show the love one has for the another. If the seeds are blown away completely in one breath, the relationship will be strong. Another reason for blowing dandelions was to tell the time and weather. The time was calculated by the number of breaths it took to blow all the seeds away. For example, if it takes two blows for all the seeds to fly away, then it was 2 o 'clock. Rain was predicted by the appearance of the dandelions. If it loo

Most Expensive Food

Moose Cheese: One of the most expensive cheeses in the world is moose cheese, which is produced in only one place: on the Moose House farm in Sweden. Moose milk is required to produce it. Moose cheese is white, and its appearance is reminiscent of feta cheese. It costs around €1,000 ($1,074) per kilogram, and it's made in very limited quantities. Ayam Cemani Black Chicken: The Ayam Cemani chicken is bred in Indonesia, but it isn't exported to different countries because of fears that it could spread bird flu. This breed of poultry is so rare that one chick costs around $200 in Indonesia. And outside the country, this price can reach thousands of dollars. However, in Malaysia, the Ayam Cemani is so common that its price is no higher than that of an ordinary chicken. Saffron: The cost of this seasoning can range from $400 to $1,000 per kilogram. This is because saffron grows for only seven days a year in autumn. It's collected and processed

HALF CHIPS PACK FILLED WITH GAS WHY?

Why are chips packets filled with air? Is there any reason or just to earn profit? When looked for answering I got a lot of information.  Chips package are flushed with nitrogen gas to prevent the food from stale. Nitrogen gas prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi. Nitrogen usually will not react with food. Instead of flush with nitrogen gas if we fill these oxygen gas food will easily become rancid. Because oxygen is always ready to react with other molecules. The brings chemical changes and bacteria become to grow in presence of oxygen.  Then the food smells bad and causes digestion problem Also, Nitrogen gas flushed in package prevent the chips from cracking while transport. .So finally getting unbroken, crispy, spicy snack packs. Prefer yoga than Exercise

Yoga is an art with spiritual and ascetic discipline. It gives your body fitness and strengthens your immunity. It includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, which is widely practised for health and relaxation. Though exercise gives you fitness and strengthens your immunity, it is quite different from yoga. It has a lot of specific benefits compare to exercise. It increases our posture, flexibility, and mental health. The basis of yogic breathing practices lie in pranayama, or yogic breathing techniques. These techniques, which are integrated into the vast majority of yoga classes, can be amazing for restoring balance and vitality to the body and mind. Controlled breathing can increase energy levels and relax the muscles, while reducing stress, anxiety and depression.  On a physiological level, regular yoga practice has been found to improve lung capacity and breathing, both in healthy adults and those who suffer from asthma. MOST EXPENSIVE MANGOES GROW IN JAPAN THAN IN INDIA

Three fruits namely mango, jackfruit, and banana are called Mukani mentioned in Tamil literature. In India, particularly in Tamil Nadu Mukani is considered as VIP treatment to guests. During the summer season, all these three fruits were available.  India is famous for many such a way it is famous for mango. Mangoes are not cultivated all over the world. They grow in particular countries are India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Japan, and the Philippines. Because it needs plenty of rainfall and warm weather and long hours of sunshine.  Everyone gets to water when talking about mango due to its sweet, juicy taste. We cannot explain in words such a delicious fruit. There are more varieties himsager, are caused, Alphonso, Kesar, dasheri, malgowa, and many. Miyazaki mangoes are the world’s most expensive variety. Though India is famous for the variety of mango the expensive Miyazaki mango is nice to Japan.  In 1984, Miyazaki mango begins to cultivate in Miyazaki, Japan. They are also

Why are some leaves red?

We assume leaves to be green, but also notice how there are exceptions – we expect a show of reds, golds and yellows each autumn. But what about all those red leaves we see turning up at other times of the year, even in the middle of summer? The red colour is caused by pigments called anthocyanin. The pigments cause not only the red of some leaves, grapes and onions but also the blue of blueberries and the black of soybeans. Some trees are naturally very high in these pigments and will have strong colours at all times of the year. These trees are usually marked out by both their appearance came, e.g. the copper beech: Most plants have naturally these pigments and appear green most of the time. However, in certain situations, these ‘green’ plants will produce higher levels of Anthocyanin leading to a change in colour in their stems and leaves. One of the main causes is high levels of direct sunlight. And this is where it gets interesting for natural navigation. T

Google Could Be Working on Apple-Like Find My Device Network Functionality for Android

Google could be working on device-locating network functionality similar to Apple's ‘Find My' network. A string of code associated to a network for finding Android devices has been reportedly found in the latest version of Google Play Services app. The description for the first code states, “Allows your phone to help locate your and other people's devices” while the description for the second code states “Find My Device network.” This clearly indicates to a find my device network system for Android similar to Apple's own Find My service.  As of now, Google offers a Google Find My Device app that lets you located devices that are signed into your Google account. With the extended network functionality as seen in code, users will be able to help find other Android devices signed into different accounts. Credits: BharaniDharan

Fairy Ring

It is a circular pattern formed by fungi (mushrooms) growing in grasslands. The circles formed by the mushrooms can be of different sizes. some are small while some can grow up to 600 meters in diameter. These rings are found during the transition period from summer to autumn after wet weather.  There are folklore tales on fairy rings. In English and Celtic folklore, fairy rings were thought to be the result of fairies and elves dancing in a circle. In German folklore, it was believed that witches danced in circles in celebration of a spring exactly six months before Halloween. In Austrian mythology, dragons were thought to have made those circles on the grass with their fiery tail. A single fungus grows on a patch of grassland. Underground, there are small threads called mycelium that sprout and spread out in a small circle. After a year, fruiting bodies form at the edges of the circle and come out of the ground. The mycelium over time uses all the nutrients ar

Why fruits are not good to eat at night?

Most of us have this irresistible desire of having something sweet at night. But fruits are not a suggestable one at night. Fruits are healthy, juicy, nutritious, naturally sweet and are better than other sugary stuff.         As per Ayurveda, there should be a gap between your meal and fruits because both have different effects on the digestive system. The ancient medical system also states that one should consume their meal at least 3-4 hours before going to bed. If they are taken together, then our body first digests the fruits followed by the meal. This will lead to indigestion and your body will not able to absorb all the nutrients from the meal. Some people also believe that having fruits just before going to bed will induce sleep, but it is just the opposite. Fruits release sugar in the body, which will spike your energy and you will have difficulty in falling asleep.                Having said that, it is not that you cannot have fruits at night, but you have to be

FEELING SICK WHILE TRAVEL WHY?

Everyone had experienced this travel sick during the travel from one place to another. Have you thought about why we feel sick while travelling? This is because of some confusion in the brain. Naturally, our brain adapted to two type of motions are walking and running.  While we travel by vehicles our body remains to rest. The inner ear sends different signals to your brain from those your eyes are seeing.  our brain recognizes information from the eyes and ear and identifies the motion process. But our body remains rest so our brain confused and send some alert message. This makes the body perform the process against the venom. Thus we feel the sense of vomiting, headache and sleep. When we began to travel again our brain get practiced to it.  To overcome this have some acidic foods like lemon juice and chocolate. Before travelling keep the stomach empty else have very light food. Heavy food leads indigestion problem and leads to some more problem. Try these t

Why some flowers bloom at night ?

Summer is known for its fields of wildflowers and flowering trees. All colours of pedals spread toward the sky. We have taken for granted that flowers bloom during the day, just like how summer is warm and grass grows. However, there are some flowers that defy the norm and do not go with the flow of following daylight hours. These flowers actually have a good reason for their particularly weird flower habits. The main purpose of flower blossoms is for the plant to spread their seeds. The flower attracts bees, the bees fly to another flower, and voila, the flower has spread its seeds. However, bees are not the only pollinators, even if they are the most famous.  “7 Insect Pollinators that Arendt Bees or Butterflies”, moths, mosquitos, beetles, and even ants share the credit for helping flowers flourish. Most pollinators roam only in daylight, leading most flowers to open up when the sun is out to fit their pollinators’ schedule. But not all pollinators like to be

Secret of Tears

Tears emerge from your lacrimal glands, which are under your eyelids and above your eyes. They spread across the surface of your cornea and drain from your eyes through tear ducts in the corners of your eyelids. One person produces 15 to 30 gallons of tears per year. If you’ve ever tasted your tears, you may have noticed how salty they are. Tears are salty because they are made from water from our body that contains electrolytes (salt ions) Tears are 98% water. The remaining 2%, which is responsible for the salty taste, contain: Oils Salt More than 1,500 proteins Our bodies use electrolytes to create electricity that helps power our brains and move our muscles. There are actually three kinds of tears Basal tears – clean and lubricate your eyes Reflex tears – which drain when your eyes are irritated by things like onions or pollen Emotional tears – This one needs no explanation! A baby who cries for more than 3 hours a day, more than 3 days a week, for more than 3 weeks may
