Astrologer Richard Nolle coined the term ‘supermoon’ in 1979 and is used to refer to either a new or full moon that is closest to the Earth. Supermoons are also said to be bigger and brighter than your average full Moon. On average, supermoons are about 7% bigger and about 15% brighter than a typical full . Although the name held with pink and we wish the colour of the moon be pink ,not really pink colour.
The name pink was used by The Old Farmer’s Almanac come from a number of places to denote full moon. April’s full Moon often corresponded with the early springtime. During spring the blooms of a certain wildflower native to eastern North America: Phlox subulata—commonly called creeping phlox or moss phlox—which also went by the name “moss pink.”
