1) Crocodile Temple:
The Ananthapadmanabhaswamy Temple or Anantha Lake Temple is built for Lord Vishnu. It is also called a crocodile temple. This temple built in the middle of a lake in the little village of Ananthapura, around 6 km from the town of Kumbla in Manjeshwaram Taluk of Kasaragod District of Kerala. There is a harmless crocodile that lived in the Ananthapadmanabhaswamy Temple’s lake. It is a vegetarian. Believable of this place is that you will get lossed posting or objects after visiting this place.
2) Rat Temple:
The Karni Mata Temple is situated at Deshnoke in Rajasthan. This temple is the craziest place because it gives importance to rats. They believe that the god of this temple incarcerated every year as a rat. More than 25,000 black rats are living in this temple. White rats are considered a very holy animal in this temple. The food that gives to people as prasatham is the remaining food eaten by a rat. By mistake, if you hurt any rat, You need to submit a rat statue made up of gold or silver.
3) Dog Temple:
The temple was constructed by a rich businessman Ramesh in the year 2010. This temple is situated at Channapatna in Karnataka. As per villagers, once two dogs mysteriously disappeared from the village. A few days later, the goddess herself appeared in Ramesh’s dream and asked them to build a temple for the lost dogs close to hers for the protection of the village and the villagers. Inside the temple, there are statues of two dogs remembering that two disappearing dogs. Villagers believe that these dogs continuously watch out for them and drive the negative energy away. Every year, a huge festival is held in the village in honour of these guard dogs.
4) Bear Temple:
Temple, where the bear comes for prey, is named Chandi Mata temple. This temple is built for chandi mata. It is situated in village ghunchapali just 6-7km. From bagbahara a tahsil place of mahasamund district in chhattisgarh.Many bears are coming regularly to temple premises from the surrounding forest in the evening and they take eatable offering given by pilgrim without causing any harm and hesitation. They return to the jungle after eating their prasatham. They roam freely in the temple. Temple’s of hanuman and bhairavnaath is along with that temple.
5) Boar Temple:
The temple built for the avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu in the form of a boar is the Varaha temple. It is situated in Khajuraho at Madhya Pradesh. Varaha Jayanti, the birthday of Varaha, is celebrated on the third lunar day in the bright fortnight of the Bhadrapada month. The statue of Varaha is 2.6 m long and 1.7 m high. The sculpture is colossal and monolithic and made of sandstone. The sculpture is carved with numerous figures on its entire body. Varaha Cave Temple is one of the greatest examples of Pallava art.
