Electric vehicles are more around in the world now, Which saves the fuel for vehicles. Now Electric vehicles are moves one step ahead. Electric vehicles are wirelessly charged.

Researchers at Cornell University are pioneering a project that could recharge electric vehicle batteries by driving over special charging strips embedded in the road. When the battery runs low, it needs to charge for more hours. This problem often crosses the mind of those wanting to make a switch to non-polluting vehicles. This new research could move the way to change minds and increasing the adoption of electric vehicles.

Khurram Afridi, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering in the College of Engineering, and his team members are investigating technology for charging Electric vehicles wirelessly while the vehicles are in motion. This could help save time and improve productivity.

The Cornell University researchers have designed a system that uses two insulated metal plates on the ground, connected to a power line.
