Some of the species are extinct in our World. In that extinct list, the largest species is known as Argentinosaurusdinosaur. The scientific name of this species is an Argentine lizard. The mass weight for this dinosaur is about 50,000 – 100,000 kg. The length of this dinosaur is 22-35 m. It is extinct in Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. The first Argentinosaurus bone was discovered in 1987 by a farmer on his farm near the city of Plaza Huincul.
It belongs to the the Lognkosauria familia. A reconstruction of Argentinosaurus created by Gregory Paul in 1994 yielded a length estimate of 30–35 metres (98–115 ft). It was a reptile. It has13 bones. Sixmidback vertebrae, five fragmentary hip vertebrae, one tibia (a shinbone) and one rib fragment. It was a type of A dinosaur is known as a Titanosaur.
This dinosaur’s closest titanosaur relative appears to have been the much smaller Saltasaurus, clocking in at a mere 10 tons and living a few million years later. It may have been preyed upon by Giganotosaurus. The top speed of Argentinosaurus was five miles per hour. It moves much faster than a slowly taxiing 747 jet aeroplane. It lived in middle cretaceous south America. These eggs are probably measured as full foot diameter. It took up to 40years to attain maximum height. The time period of this dinosaur is 99.6 million years ago – 89.8 million years. It was a long-necked plant-eater, which feasted primarily on conifers.
The fossil was published and described in 1993 by two palaeontologists from Argentina, Rodolfo Coria and Jose F.It likely possessed 10 dorsal vertebrae, like other titanosaurs. The dorsals were opisthocoelous (concave at the rear) as in other macro Marian sauropods. The complete femur that was assigned in this species is 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) long. The femoral shaft has a circumference of about 1.18 metres (3.9 ft) at its narrowest part. This species also had sex to reproduce. The male may have thrown one leg over the female’s tail and used a relatively long, extensible penis to reach the female’s genitalia.
