Edible Fish Yet Poisonous

 The most poisonous fish is called as Tigger Puffer Fish.It comes under the kindom of animalia . The scientific name of tiger pufferfish is Takifugurubripes. It is distinguished by a very small genome that has been fully sequenced because of its use as a model species and is in widespread use as a reference in genomics. It is a Tetraodontidae family. The species name of this fish is T. Rubripes. 



  It is also called Japanese pufferfish. All pufferfishes contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that tastes fun to them and is often fatal to fish. To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, 1,200 times more toxic than cyanide. The toxin is highly concentrated in the liver and ovaries, slightly present in the intestines and flesh, and absent from skin and testes. 

  The range of tiger puffer fish about 2feet.They are scaleless fish and usually have rough to spiky skin. All have four teeth that are fused together into a beak-like form. It is not possible to visually sex these fish. It is one of the most valuable commercial fishes in Japan. The liver of this fish to be the tastiest part, but it is also the most poisonous, and serving this organ in restaurants was banned in Japan in 1984.



   Fugu has become one of the most celebrated dishes in Japanese cuisine. This fish is enough to wipe out 30 humans, and there’s no known antidote. Yet, many people eat it. Called fugu in Japan, the meat of the pufferfish is a highly prized dish that is prepared by specially trained, licensed chefs. It is classified as threatened species by The IUCN.
